Provide technical assistance to communities and non-profit organizations which serve Latino/Hispanic and Native Peoples of the Americas in the U.S. and Mexico regarding grant-writing, curriculum development, project implementation and evaluation.
Conduct cultural science research and educational programs regarding the heritage and peoples of Mexico, including, but not limited to, studies involving documentary, historiography, archaeology, cinematography and ethnography methods.
Conduct scientific research and education regarding the environmental heritage of Mexico, including, but not limited to, ethnobotany, water quality, environmental contamination, paleoecology and general ecological surveys.
Disseminate information regarding research and education through, but not limited to, publications, the Internet, public lectures, institutes, seminars and workshops.
Collaborate with institutions of higher learning, governmental and non-governmental organizations to promote sustainable ecological and cultural heritage development in Mexico including, but not limited to, the development of cultural heritage sites, ecological reserves and parks, and museums.
Implement activities related to research, education and development regarding Mexico and United States relations with Mexico.
Provide support for the public education system in Mexico to promote equitable access to resources and defend the human rights of children.
Fund projects in Mexico to employ Mexicans at equitable pay for work on development, cultural and ecological projects that benefit local communities.
